Tusker 1-0 Kakamega Homeboyz (Ruaraka ground)

Kenya international Humphrey Mieno struck in the 33rd minute to decide the match.

The influential midfielder fired with confidence into the net for his second goal of the season after Homeboyz goalkeeper David Juma had parried away Marlon Tangauzi’s goal-bound effort.

The win hoisted Tusker, who have now won three straight games on the stroll, to fourth place in the league table.

Although Homeboyz created a number of sumptuous chances, lead striker Meshack Karani and second half replacements Estone Esiye and Charles Momanyi appeared to have left their scoring boots at home as none could find the target.
