Mombasa side Bandari have boosted their ranks with the inclusion of former AFC Leopards goalkeeper Lucas Indeche.
Bandari assistant coach George Owoko said that the player had already reported for duty and was looking forward to playing at the Kenyan coastal city.
“Indeche is now here so we have two of Kenya’s finest goalkeepers on our side. He actually trained with (Wilson) Oburu early this morning.
“He is happy to have reunited with some of his former team mates and we expect that he will fit in well as we prepare for the start of this season,” he Owoko.
The experienced, Indeche who is inclined to showboating, will have to fight it out with team captain and former Harambee Stars goalkeeper Oburu for a starting position.
Indeche has reunited with midfielder Michael Luvutsi whom he played with as teammates at Thika United. He also becomes the latest inclusion in the team’s new signings that include the Gor Mahia duo of Enock Agwanda and Jacob Keli, Sofapaka’s Noah Abich and Tyrone Owino from Nakumatt.
Bandari did indicate they had completed their new season signings but it seems they are still hungry to build a formidable team that they will want to challenge for top honours this year.
Talk is rive in the coastal city they are also chasing after Thika United’s international fullback and captain Dennis Odhiambo, and kpl.co.ke will keep you abreast of any developments.
