IDCC ruling: Adagala banned for 60 days (120 in total)

The Independent Disciplinary and Complaints Committee has slapped Muhoroni Youth chairman Moses Adagala with a personal fine of KSh200,000 and suspended him from attending any Kenyan Premier League matches for 60 days after finding him guilty of encouraging violent and threatening conduct.

Adagala and Muhoroni Youth were charged with committing the offensive during their troubled match against Ulinzi Stars played on Saturday 13th May 2017 at Afraha Stadium.

Said IDCC: “Mr. Moses Adagala is found guilty and is suspended from attending any KPL matches for 60 days, from the date of this ruling, but which duration must not run concurrently with any pre-existing suspension, but must be subsequent to any suspensions he may be serving or due to serve.”

In a different case involving a fixture between Muhoroni and Kakamega Homeboyz, Adagala was found guilty of violating similar rules governing the game in Kenya and handed a 60-day suspension from attending any KPL match. In addition, he was fined KSh200,000.

The Muhoroni Youth chairman is consequently banned for 120 days from attending league matches.

The tribunal noted: “We take tremendous exception to the repeated infractions of the chairman of Muhoroni Youth FC Mr. Moses Adagala. We note that this is not his first infraction, and the trend is of great concern.”

IDCC warned Muhoroni Youth that repeated infraction and misconduct will, if proven, risk their suspension from the League.
